Marchetti SF-260W
At present we offer JTAC training with a Marchetti SF-260 and a Z-242, but we can with due notice, provide training with high-speed high-performance jets.
The Marchetti SF-260W is build as a ”light attack aircraft” with two weapons stations. This capability provides for different types of missions with a payload of up to 300 lbs. under each wing. This payload can be a mix of for instance:
- Jamming pods (EW training of surface units)
- ISR pod
- Threat emitter
- Weapons load (for instance BDU-33)
The SF-260W is build for G-loads from +6 to -3 G and with an ”on station time” of 120 minutes it is a solid workhorse for JTAC training.
